Verifying who we are
Cocoa Bridge Alliance is registered with the Connecticut Secretary of the State. Our filing number and ALEI above can be checked in the State of Connecticut public business registry (business.ct.gov). Our registered agent is Registered Agents Inc., Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Our leadership team is published with full names and roles on the Team page, and the founder's message is signed on the Founder page.
Website security
This website is served exclusively over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate, so traffic between your browser and the site is encrypted in transit.
The site does not sell anything, does not request payment, and never asks for passwords, banking details, or identity documents. The only information you can submit is the contact form and the CIDS 2027 newsletter form.
Recognising our communications
Legitimate messages from the alliance come from an @cocoabridgealliance.org address, or from our notification sender notify.cocoabridgealliance.org for automatic confirmations. We never request payments, wire transfers, or credentials by email.
If you receive a message claiming to come from the Cocoa Bridge Alliance from any other domain, treat it as suspicious and report it to us.
Browser or antivirus warnings
Some browser extensions and reputation tools automatically flag recently registered domains they have not yet indexed. If you see such a warning on this site, it is a false positive: the domain belongs to the registered entity described above and is served over a valid HTTPS certificate. You can report the false positive to the extension provider, and you are welcome to contact us so we can follow up.
Reporting a security concern
If you notice a vulnerability, a suspicious message using our name, or a website impersonating the alliance, write to info@cocoabridgealliance.org with the subject line “Security”. Please include the URL or the full message headers so we can investigate, and allow us reasonable time to respond before public disclosure.
