From 1 to 3 September 2026, the Cocoa Bridge Alliance took part in the 10th edition of the Journées Nationales du Cacao et du Chocolat at the Parc des Expositions of Abidjan Port-Bouët, organized by the Conseil du Café-Cacao under the theme “Youth and the cocoa farming of the future”.

CBA was represented by Clovis Delacroix N'Dete, Côte d'Ivoire Representative, and Bertin Yao Niamien, Regional Director for Institutional Relations, Advocacy and Resource Mobilization (West Africa), who met cooperatives, chocolate makers, exporters, researchers and institutional stakeholders — and carried the road to CIDS 2027.

Graphein, an Ivorian professional training center founded in 2018 and specialized in graphic design, web development, multimedia and digital marketing, joins the Cocoa Bridge Alliance as training and digital partner.

Through this partnership, Graphein will support digital and communication capacity-building for cocoa-sector actors and contribute to the visibility of the Cocoa Innovation & Derivatives Summit (CIDS 2027) across West Africa.

PADEV CEO Clubs International, a pan-African network of business leaders affiliated with the PADEV ecosystem (Prix Africain de Développement), becomes the first official event partner of the Cocoa Bridge Alliance for the Cocoa Innovation & Derivatives Summit (CIDS 2027).

Through this partnership, the network will help mobilize African executives, entrepreneurs and institutional figures around cocoa value addition, industrial transformation, and the summit's B2B and diplomatic programming.

The Cocoa Bridge Alliance has opened registration for the CIDS 2027 newsletter. Subscribers receive the first programme announcements, speaker reveals, registration openings, and exclusive delegate opportunities — in English or French.

The Cocoa Innovation & Derivatives Summit will be held in Fall 2027 in Connecticut, United States, bringing together institutions, industry, research, and producer organizations around cocoa value addition.

CBA is now receiving partnership expressions of interest from ministries and public agencies, companies in food, cosmetics, pharma, nutrition and biomaterials, universities, laboratories, cooperatives, and NGOs.

Each partner category has a defined pathway describing what they bring and what they gain within the alliance.

Cocoa Bridge Alliance, incorporated in Connecticut, United States, published its official website presenting its mission, governance, five program pillars, and its research resources on cocoa derivatives.

The platform is bilingual (English and French) to serve both West African producing countries and international partners.
